40 Whooper Swans were off the north bank early morning but typically had moved on by 0900. Later, first one , then two adult Kittiwakes were with Black-headed Gulls at the south end of the res. and these were joined by a candidate second-winter Russian Common Gull and an adult Mediterranean Gull. The first Ringed Plover of the year was present early afternoon.
