An interesting day with Chiffchaffs (two) and a single Sand Martin being the first of the summer visitors to arrive. Also an adult Kittiwake briefly at around 1230, right on cue, and four Hawfinches in the churchyard. Also 12 Mandarins, 16 Gadwall (most so far this year), 4 Tufteds, 10 Goosander, 2 GCGrebes & 1 Little Grebe, 9 Buzzards, 2 Sparrowhawks, 3 Kestrels, 6 Oystercatchers, 2 Curlews flew NNW, c60 Linnets, 4 Redpolls & 2 Siskins on the feeders.
