48 Greylag & 13 Canada Geese, c140 Pink-footed Geese flew north-west in two skeins, 7 Gadwall, 4 Tufteds, 4 Goldeneye (two drakes), 9 Goosander, 12+ Moorhens, Woodcock out of Carr Wood at dusk, 42 G.C.Grebes, 8 Little Grebes, Goshawk disturbing the roosting gulls, 3 Sparrowhawks, male Kestrel, 4+ C.Buzzards, Tawny Owl calling at dusk, 2 Kingfishers,c200 Starlings at Highoredish, c90 Redwings, 1 Willow Tit, few Siskins, 7 Lesser Redpolls, 2 Linnets, c10 Goldfinches and a Brambling at Highoredish. A juvenile Glaucous Gull arrived in the roost early at 1430 with later 4 Yellow-legged Gulls(3x1stW’s & single 3rdW), 2560 Herring Gulls and 1050 Great b-b Gulls.
