No sign of yesterday’s three Avocets this morning in foggy conditions, not seen after they were flushed by sailors last night. 19 Barnacle Geese remained, only one Little Egret was seen with 8 Mandarins, 7 Gadwall, 69 Lapwings, 3 Snipe NW, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 3 Blackcaps with c15 Chiffchaffs and at least 11 Goldcrests in the west bank area. A Yellow Wagtail was heard initially and eventually seen over the west car park.
