1 Mute Swan, 22 Mandarins, 5 Gadwall, 40 Cormorants, 3 Little Egrets, 4 Little Grebes, Osprey in the afternoon, c10 C.Buzzards, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, juv Peregrine, Hobby, 2 Black-t-Godwits 0855-0900 before continuing SW, a Greenshank in at 0944, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 47 Swifts still, 3 Kingfishers, 2 Ravens, Willow Tit, more Chiffchaffs, 2/3 Willow Warblers, Whitethroats & Blackcaps, juv Song Thrush, 3 Spotted Flycatchers & the juv Redstart still present round the car park/shrike bushes. The first Meadow Pipit of the autumn flew through.
