A Mute Swan, 5 Shelduck, 2 Mandarins, 263 Mallard, 5 Teal, 8 Tufteds, Little Egret, 19 GCGrebes, an Osprey ( the BTO ringed sub-adult for it’s twelfth day) flew through then west at 1035-40 with a second adult 1235-48, 10+ C.Buzzards with a ‘kettle’ of six; three of which continued south – potentially migrant birds enticing local birds up, 3 Hobbies together over the car park at 1105, c60 Lapwings, C.Snipe over NE at 0844, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 1 Swift, 10 Chiffchaffs, 5 Blackcaps, a Lesser Whitethroat, the first Whinchat of the year on the west bank in the evening, 3 Yellow Wagtails south and a Meadow Pipit south.
