5 Whooper Swans flew NE at 1335 and a young Mute Swan arrived mid-afternoon. 9 Goldeneye was a big improvement with 2 Goosander and still a few Gadwall and Wigeon. A Goshawk and a juv Peregrine were the pick of the raptors and the ad Yellow-l-Gull was still around. A female Stonechat was on the west bank late afternoon and 7 Brambling were in the Oaktree area with a male at the feeders in the south car park. A male Mealy Redpoll was with a small group of Lesser Redpolls, a different bird to last weeks bird, a calling Grey Partridge was a welcome record.
