Highlights included single Greenshank 1 Jul then another 6-10 Jul joined by two more on the final day. All three had departed the following morning but another arrived at midday making the fifth for the month. A first-summer Hobby showed well on 2/3 Jul. The 12 July was an interesting day with the arrival of two Little Egrets (one remaining to this day), 5 Common Scoters ( four drakes), 3 Crossbills and in the evening four Black-t-Godwits. Fairly quiet otherwise with 1/2 Common Sands occasionally, plus sightings of Barn Owl & Kingfisher.
