The Kumlien’s Gull arrived early and showed well at the south end of the reservoir before inexplicably heading off south with about ten other large gulls at 1645. The Glaucous/Herring hybrid roosted and earlier in the day the 2ndW Glaucous Gull lingered in the early morning mist. Also 3 Goldeneye, 2 Goosander, a Little Egret, 42+ GCGrebes, 4 Oystercatchers, a Curlew, a Little Owl, a dusk Barn Owl (with the usual evening calling Tawny Owls) and the Twite hanging on with the Linnets.
