35 Canada & 167 Greylag Geese, 4 Wigeon (though different group to yesterday), 4 Shoveler, 8 Tufted Ducks, 3 Goldeneye, 5 Little Grebes, a juvenile male Goshawk was seen at 1200 over the far side of the reservoir from the car park then very well over Carr Pond and across the reservoir at 1500, hopefully hanging around the area, 3 C.Buzzards, 1 Grey Wagtail, c45 Fieldfares, 1 Willow Tit, c260 Starlings late afternoon included c50 roosting in the reed bed & c210 flying west, 14 Lesser Redpolls, 1 Brambling and lots of Greenfinches still. In the gull roost the resident ad. Yellow-l-Gull, 2ndW Caspian Gull, c200 Herring Gulls, c40 L.B.B.Gulls, c20 G.B.B.Gulls, 1 Common Gull * c2500 B.H.Gulls.
