Mute Swan, 8 Mandarins, 6 Gadwall, 2 Tufteds, a Goosander flew south 0744, 4 Oystercatchers – the pair on the island appear to have been predated unfortunately, very near to the hatching stage, 2 Common Sands, a Redshank 0830-0940 left SE after being flushed, 23 BHGulls thru’ a.m, 13 GBBGulls, c5 Herring Gulls thru’, 3 different Common Terns thru’ in the morning, 4 Swifts, usual Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers & Blackcaps plus 6 Sedge & 1 Reed Warbler, 5 Whitethroats, 2 Lesser Whitethroats & 3 Garden Warblers. Two Yellow Wags flew NE at 1200.
