Highlight today was a pale adult male Honey Buzzard that flew east at 1040, this is the fifteenth record for the site. Also 4 Gadwall, 22 GCGrebes congregated at both end of the reservoir due to boating activities, 6 Oystercatchers including chicks, 1 Ringed Plover, one or possibly two further broods of Lapwing chicks, 4 Common Terns, 1stS GBBGull, c50 Swifts, a Grasshopper Warbler reeling from fields to the north and a singing Spotted Flycatcher on the edge of the recording area at Highoredish.
