The highlights were a Marsh Harrier over the west bank area 0745-57 before leaving south-east that must have roosted at or near the reservoir and the first Green Sandpiper of the year arriving from the north 1105 before landing briefly on the west bank. Also 139 Canada Geese, 1 Little Egret, 2 Wigeon, 7 Gadwall, 50+ Teal, Yellow-billed Teal, 7 Buzzards, 2 Sparrowhawks, ad Yellow-l-Gull, c20 Swallows, c5 House Martins, trickle of Meadow Pipits south, 10 Skylarks inc. a flock of nine NE, c70 Redwings, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Kingfisher, several Siskins over and a Brambling.
