Pink-footed Goose, 12 Teal, 7 Gadwall, drake Mandarin, 5 Goldeneye, 4 Oystercatchers, several Common Snipe, a Peregrine, a Raven, Green Woodpecker, 4 singing Goldcrests in the Sailing Club/Alders Wood area, 16 Chiffchaffs & 5 Willow Warblers between the west & south car parks; the latter being the first recorded this year, a few days later than normal. Highlight was a Jack Snipe that showed well late evening, this bird also being seen on Sunday afternoon (3rd).
