An Osprey was the second of two birds present on & off the last 9/10 days with white on blue Darvic ring AL3, ringed at the nest at Tain, Easter Ross in 2014 and present on 21 May at Kielder. The other bird ‘FF8’ is also a Scottish bird and we await further details. Thanks to Phil Rhead for the above information. Also today 2 Mute Swans, 56 Canada & 52 Greylag Geese, 131 Mallard, 4 Gadwall, 6 Mandarins (pair with four young), 10 Tufteds, 59 Coots, 17 GCGrebes, 1 Little Grebe, 2+ Oystercatchers, 1 LRPlover, 55 Lapwings, 2 Common Terns and a Spotted Flycatcher.
