Highlight was a Scandinavian Rock Pipit that flew in and landed on the island in front of the Member’s Hide at 0910 and showed well until it suddenly took flight and flew across towards the east bank at 0940. Also single Mute Swan & Pink-footed Goose, 5 Mandarins, 4 Gadwall, 9 Teal, 5 Goldeneye, 4 Oystercatchers, single Little Ringed Plover, 11 Buzzards in one scan, 2 Sparrowhawks, c50 each of Swallows & Sand Martins with a few House Martins.
