Late news for yesterday of nine Little Egrets roosting at the south end of the reservoir late evening, another site-record count. Also at least two Ospreys off & on, one of which bears a blue colour-ring on it’s right leg indicating a Rutland connection, Hobby seen at least twice, 42 Tufted Ducks with an eclipse drake Pochard/Tufted hybrid, f.Gadwall with three young, 2 Mandarins, 1 Teal and the adult Yellow-legged Gull.
