An exciting day for two observers when a Black Stork appeared high over the west car park 1005-10 drifting slowly south-east before, legs dangling, it dropped out of sight and appeared to be landing. Further searches failed to relocate it unfortunately. A nationally rare bird, this will be a new bird for Ogston if accepted. Also a year’s best count of 100 Tufted Ducks.
