Two Ruff were on the west bank in front of the Member’s Hide until midday at least, a new species for the year. Quiet otherwise this morning with a fly-over Yellow Wagtail, 5+ Little Egrets, 7 Buzzards, 3 Sparrowhawks, 3 Teal, 40+ Tufteds and a noticeable increase in Chiffchaffs. Two Ospreys in the afternoon with the Ruff lingering till early evening at least.
