Highlights this morning included 3 Red-crested Pochard, two eclipse males and an adult female and a male Merlin that headed south-east at 1145. R.C.Pochard are surprisingly rare here with this being only the eighth record and only the third this century. Also a Mute Swan, 2 Little Egrets, 34 Teal, a Shoveler, a Gadwall, 48 Mandarins, 7+ L.Grebes, Green Woodpecker, Kingfisher, Whitethroat and single Yellow & Grey Wagtails over.
