Sightings from today’s work party:
Birds: Blackbird, Blue Tit, Goldfinch, Great Tit, Jackdaw, Kestrel (2), Nuthatch, Robin, Redwing, Rook, Sparrowhawk, Woodpigeon, Wren.
Mammal: Grey Squirrel. A black Cat Felis catus was reported, seen on the reserve on 14th November (Peter Faulkner).
Flowering plants: Dandelion, Herb Robert, Hogweed.
Fruiting plants: Alder Buckthorn, Guelder Rose, Hawthorn, Prunus sp.
Several plant galls were located and await identification.
