Little of note reported to or seen by me on a stiflingly hot day. The two LRPlover chicks, now almost a week old, were on view with the parents in front of the public hide and a Yellow Wagtail over the car park at 1345 was slightly unseasonal here though with a pair being seen quite regularly right through to the start of the month there was/is hope they were breeding locally. Formally a fairly common visitor they last bred in 1980. Also 2 Mute Swans, fem. Mandarin with six young, 2 Teal, 2 Gadwall, c20 Tufteds, 5 Oyks, 2 Common Terns, single 2CY GBB & Common Gulls with 6 Black-headeds & 39 LBBGulls down on the west bank.
