Highlight today again provided by Hawfinches at Highoredish with a flock of nine vocal birds at 0940 followed by two singles giving another record total of eleven. That’s twenty-one in the last week, more than the sum of all previous records. Also 369 Redwings, 6 Song Thrushes, 1 Mistle Thrush, 40 Redpolls, 86 Chaffinches, 20 Mipits, 6 Pied Wags, 4 C.Snipe, 11 Skylarks & a Chiffchaff calling. At the res  2 Chiffchaffs, 2 drake Pochard and 2 Shoveler.
