Highlights today were 2 Whimbrel on the west bank most of the day, getting vocal and leaving at 1600 and the year’s first Sandwich Tern from at least 1330 that left SE at 1612. Also three Mandarin broods (7+9+6), two Mallard broods (4+6), 4 Tufteds, a Hobby, 4 Oystercatchers, 9 LRPlovers, a Curlew, 32 LBBGulls, 5 Herring Gulls, c20 Swifts.
