48 Greylags, 6 Gadwall, 1 Shoveler, 35 Tufted Ducks, 39 Pochard, 3 G.C.Grebes and a Brambling on the feeders. A total of 88 species recorded for the month/year though basically things a bit ‘same old, same old’ as is fairly typical this time of year without any cold snaps to get things moving. Gull roost has been disappointing so far though lots of big gulls are arriving after dark and have probably come some distance to what is presumably a traditional roost site for these birds, big gulls living for 20+ years.
