A Dunlin flew south at 1110.

10 Gadwall, 2 Pochard, 2 Goldeneye, 4 Goosander, 7 Buzzards, 4 Oystercatchers, 4 Ravens, Willow Tit. In the roost possible 1stW Caspian and adult Viking Gull again.

10 Gadwall, a Shoveler, 2 drake Pochard, 5 Goldeneye, 4 Oystercatchers, 4 Snipe, 28 Redwings. In the gull roost a probable 1stW Caspian Gull, possibly an hybrid. Better Views Desired.

6 Canadas, 26 Greylag & a lone Pinkfoot, 11 Gadwall, drake Pochard, 5 Goldeneye, 2 Goosander, 10 Little Grebes, ad Peregrine again, 4 Oystercatchers, 1 Raven, 17 Redwings, Fieldfare, 4 Willow Tits, Siskins in the Carr Pond area.

7 Gadwall, 2 Pochard, 5 Goldeneye, 3 Goosander. The bright & breezy conditions in the morning looked good for raptors and so it proved with 6 Common Buzzards up, at least 4  Sparrowhawks, an ad Peregrine and best of all … Continue reading →

26 Tufteds, 3 drake Pochard, 5 Goldeneye, 1 Goosander, 19 Grey Heron nests in the heronry, 9 Common Buzzards, Sparrowhawk, 4 Oystercatchers, 39 Lapwings, 2 Ravens, Treecreeper singing, 6 Skylarks over. Adult Viking Gull again in the roost.

4 Pochard, 6 Goldeneye, 4 Goosander, 4 Oystercatchers, c80 Lapwings, 2 Ravens.

11 Mandarins, 11 Gadwall, drake Pochard, 4 Goldeneye & 3 Goosander. Nothing in the gull roost in bad conditions.

8 Gadwall, 21 Teal, drake Shoveler, 36 Mallard, 5 Goldeneye, 6 Goosander, 4 Oystercatchers, 51 Lapwings, Kingfisher, 2 Willow Tits, 2 Skylarks over.
