Apparently quiet over the weekend with a Little Egret, a Common Snipe, 2 Yellow-legged Gulls and a Hobby, the latter two on Sunday.

2 Mute Swans, 19 Mandarins, 3 Teal, 8 Tufteds, 6 Little Egrets, 2 C.Snipe, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 3 Common Terns, Raven, Willow Tit.

2 Mute Swans, 32 Mandarins, 4 Teal, 10 Tufteds, single Little Egret, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 3 Common Terns. Another quiet morning.

2 Mute Swans, 242 Canada & 108 Greylag Geese, 29 Mandarins, 10 Tufteds, 1 Little Egret, 7 C. Buzzards, juv LRPlover, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 5 Common Terns inc one juv.

2 Mute Swans, 24 Mandarins, an unseasonal Wigeon, a Gadwall, 4 Teal, 6 Tufteds, 2 Little Egrets, 2 Little Grebes, a pair of GCGrebes with three small chicks was a surprise having hatched them out of a nest in the … Continue reading →

2 Mute Swans, 25 Mandarins, 185 Mallard, 6 Tufteds, 2 Little Egrets, 36 Coots, 22 GCGrebes, 1 Common Sand, ad Yellow-l-Gull, Common Gull, 3 Common Terns (pair with fledged juv still), Barn Owl, Willow Tit, c25 Goldfinches.

Two separate Whimbrels flew south at 1000 & 1020. Also a Common Snipe by the hides.

3 Little Egrets, first-summer Hobby & 2 Common Sandpipers.
