3 drake Common Scoters, 6 Oystercatchers, 2 Ringed Plovers, a Dunlin, Greenshank for it’s third day, 2 Curlews, 2 Common Terns, pair of Lesser Whitethroats, pair of Spotted Flycatchers, first juvenile Pied Wagtail of the year here.

A Greenshank, the first of the year, was present throughout plus sightings of Goshawk and Hobby.

A Red Kite flew south at 1145-52 and a (the) Ringed Plover present.

2 Curlews, Ringed Plover, two Hobbies.

The Oystercatchers still have two young, 2 Curlews, Common Sand, two Hobby sightings.

A Ringed Plover was on the west bank.

An Osprey from 1240-50 then departed high NE, 2 Common Sands.

Few highlights during this period, an Osprey was seen at 1520 on 20th, a pair of Spotted Flycatchers returned to the recording area, the Oystercatchers on the south tern raft hatched two chicks & successfully moved them to the (relative) … Continue reading →
