A quiet morning, felt like mid-summer. A LRPlover, increase in Blackcaps and the Lesser Whitethroat singing and showing well early morning around the car park just about sums it up.

Mute Swan, 6 Goldeneye, 3 ad Little Gulls 1055-1125 then departed east, a Sandwich Tern briefly at 1258, a fem Redstart in the car park, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Willow Tits, 3 Blackcaps and a Redpoll.

Two drake Common Scoters, Curlew,  2 LRPlovers and an adult Kittiwake late morning.

3 Goldeneye, Peregrine, 4 Oystercatchers, c150 Swallows, House Martin, 3 Yellow Wagtails on the island, Hawfinch in the churchyard still & 3 Bramblings on the feeders.

On another grim day 4 Mandarins, 8 Gadwall, 22 Tufteds, 3 Goldeneye, 2 GCGrebes, 4 Oystercatchers, c100 Swallows, c10 Sand & 1 House Martin with a nice male Brambling on the feeders.

Late news of a fly-through Osprey on 6 April. Today was quiet again in poor conditions; 3 Mandarins, 9 Gadwall, 20 Tufteds, 2 Goldeneye, 2 GCGrebes, 4 Oystercatchers, a LRPlover, c90 Swallows, few Chiffchaffs, 2 Willow Warblers.
