Another quiet day though the Water Rail showed well again from the hide. 3 Mute Swans,11 Gadwall, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 2 Ravens, single Skylark over, couple of Mipits & 20+ Linnets. The gull roost held plenty of birds but nothing unusual.

Sixty Pinkfeet flew SE and a Water Rail was seen from the hides. In the gull roost 470 Herring, 244 GBB & 60 LBBGulls plus a Raven over.

3 Mute Swans, 11 Gadwall, fem Shoveler, 50 Redwings & 70 Chaffinches. Highlight was yet another Hawfinch, this one in trees at Teapot Farm in Brackenfield. An escaped Harris Hawk was in the area.

Two Black-t-Godwits in Chapel Bay were a surprise. Also 11 Gadwall & a fem Shoveler. In fields behind the west bank 70 Chaffinches, 2 Bramblings & 6 Yellowhammers.
