41 Whooper Swans were present from early morning and stayed throughout the day. The largest herd seen actually down on the reservoir, it was good to see it included sixteen young birds. Fairly quiet otherwise.

Quiet day; 9 Gadwall,6 Tufteds, 2 Goldeneye, 4 Oystercatchers, single Fieldfare with 6 Redwings, 6+ Chiffchaffs. Quite a few big gulls moving through  SW.
