11 Gadwall, 6 Oystercatchers, Little Ringed Plover, c50 Swifts, 4 Reed Warblers, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Common Terns and a Raven.

6 Gadwall, 3 Common Terns and a Siskin. Also a Grasshopper Warbler sang briefly on the east bank, a new bird for the year putting the year list at 143.

A Goshawk was seen in flight behind the dam wall.

A Sanderling from 1315-25 didn’t land. Also 2 Peregrines, 2 Ravens, 2 Common Terns and a Curlew.

A Dunlin briefly at 0930 and a Greylag pair with young.

An Arctic Tern from 1500 to 1520 before leaving SW

Two Red Kites flew SW 1215-25 plus 2 Mute Swans, single Pink-footed & Barnacle Goose, 6 Gadwall, drake Mandarin, 30 Tufted Ducks, 4 Oystercatchers and 30+ Swifts.

  2 Mute Swans, Pink-footed Goose, 4+ Gadwall, Yellow-billed Teal, 27 Tufted Ducks, 4 Oystercatchers, 3 Dunlin, 1 Common Tern, a Cuckoo flew across the reservoir & over the dam wall and 3 Spotted Flycatchers on site.

A Peregrine briefly, adult Dunlin – unusually on the dam wall, Pinkfoot, Gadwall etc. and the returning Yellow-billed Teal.

2 Whimbrel and 1st S Common Gull.
