Sightings from today’s work party participants.
Birds: Goldfinch (flock), Nuthatch, Woodpigeon, Wren.
Butterflies: Green-veined White, Small Copper.
Dragonflies/Damselflies: Blue-tailed Damselfly, Common Darter, Southern Hawker (3).
Others: 22-spot Ladybird, Episyrphus balteatus (Marmalade Hoverfly), Rhianga campestris (hoverfly), Eristalis nemorum (hoverfly), Cheilosia illustrata (hoverfly), Froglet, and a plant gall affecting Common Cleavers (Goose-grass) caused by the mite Cecidophyes rouhollahi.
