JMNR butterfly and dragonfly transects – 20th August 2017

Dave Clay recorded the week 21 butterfly transect, finding Gatekeeper (2), Green-veined White (12), Small Copper (2), Meadow Brown (2), Painted Lady, Peacock (6), Red Admiral (4) and an unidentified white.
The Hide Pond was the subject of this week’s Adult Dragonfly transect, yielding a Brown Hawker and two Southern Hawker.
