JMNR Moth Trapping – August 16th

The moth trap was set up on the evening of August 16th adjacent to Bottom Pond. The catch was disappointing with only 7 species recorded, although this may be in part because the trap was emptied rather late the following morning. No new species were recorded.

Also in the trap was a non-biting midge, Psectrotanypus varius
