JMNR Sightings 3rd February

A chilly (7°C)  but bright day; some remnants of snow in shaded pockets.
A few Lesser Celandine plants in flower and also Dog Mercury. Some leaf burst on Hawthorn, Hazel and Elder and a few blossoms of Blackthorn. Some of the Hazel in the new hedge still has leaves on it from last year as well as a few fresh ones.

Nuthatch 2, Chaffinch 1, Blue tit 4, Great tit 1, Woodpigeon, 2, Wren 1, Blackbird 1, Redwing 3, Bullfinch heard.
