6 Shoveler (an additional drake), 21+ Teal, 5 Gadwall, 26 Tufteds, 6 Goldeneye ( 2 ad drakes, 1stW drake & 3 females), 25 Goosander flew down the reservoir in five groups around midday but didn’t appear to land, just one Grey Heron, 10 Little Grebes, Water Rail, c240 Lapwings, 65 Redwings in a field behind the west bank with a single Fieldfare. A Willow Tit on the west bank and a Chiffchaff at Carr Pond. Later an adult Iceland Gull in the roost, the first ’white winger’ of the period.
