A good day despite, and because of, the conditions; 3 Shelduck, 5+ Mandarins, 12 Gadwall, 4 Oystercatchers, 6+ LRPlovers, 3 Ringed Plovers had built up to 15 by late afternoon, 20 Dunlin a.m. also increased to a record-breaking 99 by late afternoon, 2 Sanderling, 7 Turnstones early afternoon only, 5 Whimbrel in total, a Curlew, a Little Tern 0720-0810 before departing over the dam wall (Ogston’s 28th), 2 Yellow Wagtails.
