Another interesting morning with two Ospreys earlier on plus ten Common Terns and a family party of Spotted Flycatchers in the ‘Shrike Bushes’ just south of the main car park. At 1030 a Sanderling went through NW calling and a Marsh Harrier flew SW between 1253 & 1300, the 148th species for the year after the Black Stork on Saturday which incidentally puts the Ogston all-time list provisionally on 247 species. Also 6+ Little Egrets, 3 Mandarins, 83 Tufted Ducks, adult Yellow-legged Gull and a Garden Warbler.
