Highlights today were an adult Goshawk at close range past the watchpoint at Highoredish and the first Merlin of the year zapping through; 1 Mute Swan, 125 Greylags, 4 Gadwall, 2 Shoveler, 4 + C.Buzzards, ad Goshawk WNW past the vis-mig point at 0830, a tiny juv male Merlin through the car park and down the West Bank before cutting out across the res and being lost to the south-east at 1005, adYellow-l-Gull, 1stW Common Gull, 2 Swallows south, 3 Chiffchaffs, 4 Redwings SE, 2 Grey Wags SW & 8 Linnets. Vis-mig was disappointing to say the least.
