Late news with the Jack Snipe again showing well last night but no sign this morning. Compensation in the form of an Arctic Tern in over the dam wall then north-east at 0745 and an Osprey again in from the south-east at 1025 and departing north-west. Also 2 Mute Swans, Pink-footed Goose, several Gadwall & Mandarins, two drake Shoveler, pair of Wigeon, 24 Teal, 5 Goldeneye (one drake), c15 Tufteds, 4 Oystercatchers, 2 Curlews, Green Woodpecker, Raven, Sedge Warbler, single Yellow & Grey Wagtails.
