Quieter day overall in dull misty conditions but some movement apparent mid-morning with 330 Redwings, 40 Fieldfares, 16 Redpolls and 2 Bramblings. Also 9 Golden Plover flew west plus a Peregrine, 47 Teal, 8 Gadwall and 4 Wigeon. In the afternoon a juvenile female Goshawk was seen at Highoredish, a different bird to the adult the previous day. Recent highlights include Merlins on 29 Sept and 1 Oct, Rock Pipits 29 Sept  & 16 Oct, 7 Dunlin 5 Oct, a Little Egret on 9 Oct and 435 Pinkfeet >NW on 10 Oct.
