Misty conditions again prevailed but viewing conditions had improved. Rising water levels have pushed a lot of the duck into the vegetation making observation difficult though plenty of Teal & a few Gadwall remain. Also a drake Pochard and two Goldeneye with the ad Yellow-l-Gull, Kingfisher and the highlight a young male Merlin that dashed along the west bank at 1010 before settling briefly in a tree to the NE of the res.
