Thick fog hampered viewing today with the water barely visible. A drake Pintail loomed into view briefly, 2 Oystercatchers, 5 Lapwings, 24 Snipe right of the Public Hide, 2 Fieldfares in the car park and several Redwings in Alders Wood with a particularly tame, weak bird by the path. Thankfully today proved to be the last day of the freeze.
