For the second day running a Red Kite flew through, across the east bank and north at 1405-15. Also 2 Mute Swans, 7 Gadwall, c10 Teal, Goldeneye, 10+ C.Buzzards, 4 Oystercatchers, 2 C.Snipe, a Kingfisher, a Fieldfare heading NE, several Willow Warblers, two Blackcaps and a Brambling lingering on the feeders. The Jack Snipe showed well again this evening and hirundine numbers were high with c250 Sand Martins, c100 Swallows & c30 House Martins.
