A vis-mig count in the first hour yielded little movement despite the change in wind direction probably due to the misty conditions locally. 1 Mute Swan, 68 Canada Geese, 239 Mallard, 179 Teal, 16 Gadwall, 6 Wigeon, 2 Shoveler, 20 Tufted Ducks, 23 G.C. & 5 L.Grebes, 100+ Lapwings, c35 Snipe (flushed by a Heron), ad Yellow-legged & 1stW Common Gull, 2/3 Sparrowhawks, 2 Ravens, 1 Kingfisher, 125 Wood Pigeons, 96 Fieldfares, 148 Redwings, 1 Willow Tit, 19 Bramblings, 19 Lesser Redpolls, 50+ Greenfinches on the sunflowers behind the west bank and a flyover Rock/Water Pipit; probably yesterday’s bird.
