Another disappointing start vis-mig wise but a definite improvement later with a Hawfinch north along the west bank at 1110 and only the second Green Sandpiper of the year through at 1135. Also 2 Mute Swans, 4 Wigeon, 2 Shoveler, 7 Gadwall, 1 Goldeneye, 9 Little Grebes, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 1 Raven, 1 Kingfisher with 10 Bramblings & 10 Lesser Redpolls at Highoredish. Hawfinch becomes the 157th species recorded here this year, 160 is about par in recent years.
