2 Mute Swans, 16 Gadwall, 1 Teal, 134 Tufteds, juv Pochard, Little Egret, ad Yellow-l-Gull, just 3 Swifts, Kingfisher, Raven. At least 5 Willow Warblers in the area – they get scarce locally at the end of the month. The trees at the back of the car park are always worth a look this time of year with singles of Spotted Flycatcher and Lesser Whitethroat today. An Osprey was again reported in the afternoon, not sure if it’s still the same bird. Vis-mig at Highoredish produced a single Tree Pipit and 35 Swallows in 75 minutes.
