JMNR butterfly and dragonfly transects – 12th August 2017

Week 20 of the butterfly transect. Nikki Mahadevan recorded a total of 75 individuals from 11 species: Comma (4), Gatekeeper (4), Green-veined White (13), Large White, Meadow Brown (10), Painted Lady (2), Peacock (27), Red Admiral (10), Small Copper (2), Small White, Speckled Wood.
On the Middle Pond, the Adult Dragonfly survey produced 7 Emerald Damselfly, a Southern Hawker and a Brown Hawker.
