JMNR butterfly transect 8th May 2016

Week 6: John Parlby endured a pleasantly balmy visit to the reserve to count the butterflies. It was 24 degrees Celsius and cloudless, so not surprisingly John produced the best count of the year to date: 33 in total, of 5 species – Comma (1), Green-veined White (5), Orange Tip (14), Peacock (6), Small White (7).
